Simon’s Restaurant at Groot Constantia is excited to once again present the Hop and Vine festival. With the list of enthusiastic participants and great products there will be a range of quality wines and craft beers being poured as well as limited ciders and craft spirits.

Tickets to attend will be sold to the public at R195/ person which will include entrance and ten product tastings from the 25 potential brands on show.

What does the R195 get the customer?
Guests will gain entry to the event and will be provided with a tasting passport and glass upon entry which will allow for 10 stand/ brand visits of which a minimum of 3 products will be on show to taste equating to 20 tastings.

Expect a festive atmosphere with live music and activities.

What happens after the tasting passport has been consumed?
Simon’s will provide a bar service which will have all products on show at the festival available for purchase. The bar will have products available by the glass in both 100ml tasters and 250ml glass volumes.

Where is the festival taking place?
Simon’s provides a venue perfect to the occasion with loads of heritage, outdoor and indoor seating coupled with a beautiful setting in the Constantia valley winelands. The event will be hosted indoors with our massive fireplace as the centrepiece.

Food on the day
A full variety of food will be available at the festival including an array of delicious taste /tapas style dishes to pair with the range of beer, wine and spirits. During the event our restaurant next door will also be open for A la Carte dining throughout the day.
