In September 2010, Groot Constantia participated in the 36th Nederburg Auction. The first Nederburg Auction took place in 1975. It is one of very few wineries that have consistently achieved selections status for every consecutive auction since then.
Last year Groot Constantia showcased Heritage wines consisting of a bottle each of the 1972 vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Pinotage from their archive collection as well as the Shiraz 2001 all achieved good prices.
Groot Constantia will participate in the 37th annual Nederburg Auction which will take place on the 16th and 17th September 2011.
